Retired award-winning jockey Frankie Lovato Jr., the Executive Director of Jockey World, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, health and safety in horse
racing, has started an ambitious project. Lovato will share 365 top racing terms, publishing a short, informative video every day of 2013.
I am looking forward to celebrating Saratoga Racecourse's 150th anniversary this summer and I think these tips will allow me to enjoy horse racing!

What an interesting post! I adore horses and rode a few times when I was younger (doing so now is beyond the scope of my health unfortunately), but not overly versed in all the many terms involved with riding and racing. Tony is though. His father worked in the stables at a race track in Italy and Tony grew up helping his dad out there often. To this day he adores horses and is so, so good with them.
