OTTB Thoroughbred Horse Birthday Party

 Did you know that all Thoroughbred horses in North America have the same birthday? Officially, every racing horse is turns another year older on the same day each year - January 1st. 

I joined my fellow horse lovers at Old Friends at Cabin Creek for a horse birthday party!

 Thunder Rumble

According to the Old Friend's website, Thunder Rumble won the 1992 Jim Dandy Stakes, the Travers Stakes, the Saratoga Cup and earned $1,047,552 in his racing career. Since he won the Travers Stakes in 1992, no horse has beat his time.
