Arun and I snowshoed together at the Country Club of Troy.
Our country club had a Winter Activity Day this weekend, and we enjoyed snowshoeing on the golf course before having lunch next to the fire in the Grille Room.
Jacket - Land's End Petite f(x) down jacket
Gloves - LL Bean rugged ridge gloves
I have found that having a hat is invaluable after participating in winter sports like snowshoeing. I can enjoy a nice lunch without worrying about my hair.
I changed into my riding outfit so I could go straight to my horse riding lesson after lunch (when I get to the stable, I swap the hat and blazer for my riding helmet and a coat).
Hat - Stefanel
Blazer - Club Monaco Keren blazer
Riding Gloves - Kerrits softshell winter riding glove
Riding Pants - Kerrits sit tight n warm wind pro fullseat breech
Riding top - Kerrits white ventilator riding jersey
Button down shirt - Orvis
Know a lady who loves to wear hats?
Please share this blog with her - it will make her day!
Want to feel inspired to wear hats?

This looks so fabulous Kathleen. I've got to come visit you and meet Arun!! I'm so glad we connected and met in 2012 at IFB, and I look forward to more fun with you in 2013!

Thank you! Yes, you'll get to see a real winter!
Deletelove your blazer.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteAdore your riding outfit! I may not ride with the horsey set, but I've adored dressing as though I very well could. There's just something to timelessly sophisticated, elegant and becoming about a well put together riding (or riding inspired) ensemble.

Snowshoeing sounds like fun! I haven't been out in the snow for a good five years! I was a terrible skier, haha, and so I never even tried snowboarding! Snowshoeing is new to me, so maybe I am good at that? Who knows! x
ReplyDeleteNikki, If you can walk in the mud, you can snowshoe.
DeleteHow fun, you look very chic!
